Association, and in 1997 she followed the international course in Orchestra Conducting “Franco Ferrara”, held by Luis Salomon at the “Teatro Sociale” in Como, Italy. She then studied Romolo Gessi and Donato Renzetti following the Master Classes and the three years Course at the European Academy and Vicenza.

 

Since 1996 to-gether with choir conducting Roselise Gentile has started an increasingly intence concert activity as an orchestra conductor.

 

She has worked with different instrumental ensembles, among which the Regional Choir and Orchestra of Umbria, the Chamber Orchestra “Cappella Musicale di Minerbio” composed by leading members of the Orchestra of Teatro Comunale in Bologna and the “Solisti della Scala”, working with important soloist and singers such as Anna Caterina Antonacci during a “Gala Concert” in Bologna in memory of Mariele Ventre.

 

As assistant of M° George Pehlivanian she took part in some projects with Slovenian Philarmonic Orchestra, in Slovenia and France.

 

She has worked as coach at the “Festival dei Due Mondi” in Spoleto (June 2008, June 2009), at the 52nd  International Festival of Contemporary Music for La Biennale in Venice(October 2008), and in the production of the Lombardia’s circuit (November/December 2008)

 

Since 2009 she collaborates with Choir “Claudio Merulo” of Reggio Emilia, whose partner/singers constitutes the bulk of the choirs of Teatro Regio and Festival Verdi (Both in Parma).

 

She is currently dividing her time between England, where she lives and works as a freelance conductor and as Musical Director for Mirabilé in Nottingham, and Italy and Switzerland, where, together with Ensemble Vocale “Incantica”, she is carrying on a project dedicated to the recently deceased Swiss composer Carlo Florindo Semini.
